12 LOFTS - Bubeneč

ARCHITECT
The author of the development is recognised and renowned architect John Eisler, registered in the state of New York and a member of AIA. He was born in the United Kingdom; however, he finished his studies at the Faculty of Civil Engineering, Czech Technical University (ČVUT) in Prague. Since 1983 he was working in New York for almost 20 years, in the studio of architect Richard Meier. The following examples are just a few of his best known and reputable works:

- Yale Art Library
- Museum of Ethnography and Industrial Arts in Frankfurt
- Jubilee Church in Rome
- Ara Pacis Museum complex in Rome

In 1995 he was awarded Grand Prix by the Czech Chamber of Architects.

ARCHITECTURE
This modern, novel architecture emphasises a style, comfort and refinement of selected materials and technologies. The entire concept of three villa-apartment houses offers 12 apartment units that can be adjusted as per the wishes of a future user. The building structure is designed so that it is possible to connect individual floors with one another or on the contrary, have spacious units in one area.  This complex contains not only a presentable entry hall including a reception, but also spacious parking, situated at a non-typical height, or a quiet well-maintained garden with water areas. The render of all buildings is made of fair-face concrete, aluminium and glass. The all-glass walls are equipped with shutters. Each unit is variable. Open available space can be used as such and only equipped with a surface and bathrooms, or can be converted into a unit up to the size of 5 rooms + kitchenette + terraces (197 – 352m2). It is also possible to connect individual areas across the building as the selected technologies enable it. To create one’s own space for living there is always an opportunity to seek views of architect Eisler.

LOCATION
The attractive area of Prague 6 – Bubeneč is not necessary to introduce. This area is known mainly for many embassies that are located there including the nearby residence of the Ambassador of the United States. Either Stromovka or Letenské sady parks situated within a close proximity may be used for relaxation. Within walking distance there is a sufficient number of schools, kindergartens, health-care and cultural amenities but also shops and popular restaurants. In addition, excellent links to the Ruzyně Airport surely represent a great advantage.
