Commission for Arranging Property Rental

The Lexxus real estate agency is entitled to a commission at the moment a rental agreement is concluded. Long-term rental (12 months or more): A commission is paid by the property owner and the tenant:

  • The property owner pays a commission totalling one month’s rent, plus the relevant VAT, based on the signed Agency Contract. Such commission is payable within 14 days of the signing of the Rental Agreement.
  • The tenant pays a commission totalling one month’s rent, plus the relevant VAT, based on a signed Declaration. Such commission is payable within 14 days of the signing of the Rental Agreement.

Short-term rental (less than 12 months): A commission is paid by both the property owner and the tenant. Commission is reduced to correspond to the number of months for which the property is rented, although the minimum is 50% of one (1) month's rent, plus the relevant VAT. Such commission is payable within 14 days of the signing of the Rental Agreement.
